Death

The dead are dead, and not alive in some other place in some other form. In the Scriptures always speak of the dead to be where their bodies are. Thus, death is likened to sleep - a state where there is no consciousness. The only solution to death is resurrection.

Sonship “ Sonship ” is the Greek word huiothesia ( SEC #5206), meaning the “placing as a son”, i.e., “son-placing.” It is “the station in life accorded a son” (A.E. Knoch).
